Teaching Tour in the USA – 2022
I was originally invited to teach in the USA in 2020, but the tour had to be postponed because of the COVID pandemic. I was fortunate to make it back to Australia from Spain before the borders closed, and two years later I was finally able to fulfill my promise to my American students, who had patiently waited for the workshops.
During the tour, I taught two workshops – one in Louisville, Kentucky, and the other in New York.The settings and the students were completely different, yet both groups shared the same enthusiasm for flower making. Many were milliners and textile artists who had travelled specifically to learn my techniques.
It was a truly memorable experience, and I will always be grateful for the warm welcome, enthusiasm and friendships that made this long-awaited teaching tour so special.
